A large and appreciative audience of visitors, teachers and students enjoyed a varied and interesting programme of music on Sunday 5 February. As befits the College's international profile both players and music came from a wide range of countries, covering everything from the Irish folk song Molly Malone to the Rolling Stones. Lack of experience was no bar to performance, with several items being offered by those with only a few months of experience. It was very welcome too to have contributions from our music teachers. Instruments played included piano, guitar, drum kit, viola (a first for our concerts), saxophone and voice. Special mention should be made of Thaddy's moving and highly accomplished performance of Fauré's Élégie for cello. The Concert was rounded off in traditional style by the College Choir who performed the twentieth century classics 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' and 'California Dreamin' '.
